Social Greentourism and diminishing food waste ro legislation
Because the transfer of hotel food is completely different from the “retail” sector referred to mainly in Law No. 217/2016 on the reduction of food waste, it is appropriate to have a separate chapter in the methodological norms for the enforcement of the Law 217/2016 on waste wastage Catering dedicated exclusively to the hotel and restauration sector.
Our association, from the social practice so far, has identified the exact place in the food transfer chain where a social operator can intervene before food can be fed or destroyed. More info about our „Hoteldon Foodrive” project, here!
At the meeting organized by the MADR representatives on May 12, 2017, 10:00 am, room 20, at the headquarters of MADR (Carol I, 2-4, sector 3, we gave examples of catering for many events.
After the meeting we formulated our point of view included in our address no. 565 of 2017 May 15, in response to the MADR application no. 270.289 / 09.05.2017 for the transmission of a point of view of the association regarding the methodological norms for the application of Law no 217/2016 On diminishing food waste.
